Frustrated newbie here who recently installed RBR for the first time. What a game – it lives up to the hype and more, even nowadays! Loving the stock content... for the first two minutes or so after I boot up the game. After that, all trees and most trackside (stage-side?) objects disappear and never return. Below is the beginning of Harwood Forest before and after:

Hi folks!

So a friend of mine just informed me of the big deal on steam with Dirt 2 and told me I should buy it. However he's never used RBR. So i've come here to ask for your advice. Be great if i could hear from those who've used both.

RBR is one of the best PC driving experience'es ive ever had and id love to have it again, however on my modern PC RBR doesnt seem to work right, it wont remember contoller settings and now i have widescreen and it wont do that either.

So my question is...

Should I or should'nt i?

This is my track list en excel file.
I use RSRBR with plugin RX CONTENT (BTB STAGE) and plugin for test stage mod original (MAPS)
Total is 1145 special stage for 7242 Km.
Big long is 45 km en Finland (BTB).

Hello to all.

First of all, thanks for all the efforts put in all of this.

I have just started fiddling with the pacenote plugin, and i decided to create my own pacenotes for certain stages. I'm using Leza's Phil mills mod.

When on stage the pacenotes are good (even if sometimes he doesnt call the numbers on the same corners he called them on a race before and there are sometimes some blanks), but unfortunatly on a replay, using the plugin and putting m own pacenotes, i cannot make the...

I have just redownloaded Richard Burns Rally (bough on Gamesplanet years back) and downloaded RBR CiT, on the first load the car list shows, but trying to update the car list shows an Unhandled Exception error with 404 not found. It says it needs to download a car list on the 2nd attempt and it is empty.

Noob question, as there is no in-game leaderboards, is there any third-party solution? I found this: https://www.speedrun.com/rbr/individual_levels but is almost deserted.

Hey everyone, I’m just getting into sim racing in general, and thought that I got to try some of the classics. So I downloaded RBR along with CZ plugin installer (http://rbr.onlineracing.cz/forum/viewtopic.php?p=95186)
Everything works as long as I’m not touching RBR CIT. If I open RBR CIT, it does back ups of some files and work as normal, but then when I try to start the game, all it does is shows black screen for couple of seconds and crashes. No errors or anything, although...

I've seen a few tracks with an .exe as the install, once it installs how do I actually run the track if that's not a silly question?

I've only used the RX Content way, then selected Plugins to find my tracks.

Hello guys! So I wanted to ask you if you could help me out on this because it happend like twice now. As the title sayes, the gears are not shifting I have automatic transmisson and Installed the original cars from the game (through RBRCIT), and I have everything up to date the RBRCIT.ini the RBRCIT itself, but It still does not work. So if you guys know how to fix it then I will be very thankful! Thank You very much! Also I am using the RBR Czech Plugin tournament shakedown.

Had a brake for som months so i am not fully updated.

RBR pro i believe is a stand alone pack, i can see it was out late 2019 but i first heard of it now, today i use RBR cit and som other mods and think that works great. How is RBR pro compared to this?, does it use NGP?.

If there are other new mods please share?.

Regarding online gaming i do not consider myself good enough to start with that (will just be frustreating), so i stick with single player mods...

I'm using RBR PRO. I used Group A rally cars(Subaru Impreza, Ford Escort, Audi 200 and Lancia HF) and I can't use handbrake.(It's too weak to slide the rear of the car.)

but I can see Colin use the handbrake in this video.

How can I use the handbrake in Group A cars in Richard Burns Rally?

i have been quite impressed with the new FMOD sounds being used in RBR.
this mod has made such a difference in immersion for me, it feels like a new game!

EDIT: My bad, it was actually a bad wire in my wheel USB cable causing it to disconnect very briefly every now and then. Most games reconnect automatically but RBR misses it forever.

Suddenly my old dear RBR vanilla acting really strange !

Menus are smooth but when the game has loaded I get frame rates like single digits and it's impossible to play !

The only mod I have is Fixup

Other games works normal !

Wher should i look to get help with a force feedback issue?

I decided to give this sim a go and downloaded RBRPro, all went well apart from the lack if force feedback on my Accuforce Pro.

Any pointers as where to look for a solution
