RBR with D-box Motion

Does anyone active with RBR use a D-box rig?

I'm unable to get things working without having the graphics freeze when I run the D-box system with RBR (both the standard and RBRcz versions). I tried a fresh install of RBR with no mods or plug-in's, then later added the "Fix Up" plug-in but, no success to date. We also run as admin. The audio and motion work once the D-box is initialized but, video stops (freezes in-game or in menu). Without motion enabled, both versions of RBR / RBRcz work...

Multiplayer car-problem

Hi guys,
recently I've started to have this strange problem.
If I want to play in Multiplayer mode, but in a Hot seat Rally mode, (Hot seat Stage is totally ok, as all the other mods of the game), the 1st car is always ok, if I play with 4 players, the 2nd car is also ok, but the 3rd & 4th are always with wheels totally out of position.
I don't know how to attach a pic here, but here's the photo of what I mean:

Today is the 15th anniversary of release Richard Burns Rally! ;)

It is hard to belive that, this game is one and a half decade old. And still one of the best (or THE BEST(?)) rally simulator, thanks to the modders who keep it alive.

How many people from here play on it nowadays?

I played with RBR last time almost a year ago. Today I installed to my new notebook. First time I can play in HD resolution, i tried some new tracks (for me), and i smiled...

Is there any option/possibility to remove audience from the tracks?

Hello, Did Anyone can say something about removing the dummies audience (people) from the tracks ?
Is there are some files with the audience people textures / models i can remove?
I'ts annoying because lot of this models/textures/sprites of audiences looks terrible ;-)

Richard Burns Rally Ram Issue

I have an issue, that popped up today, I launched RBR, and it lagged liked HELL, I checked the task manager and it somehow seems, that the system only assigns about 60 megabytes of ram to the game. (Before, it assigned about 1.5 - 2 gigabytes out of 8 gigabytes that my system has) Is there a fix to that, because I really need it to go away! (I am using Razer Cortex just so you know)

RBR Rally school

I am no Rally driver at all, but RBR is the only game that i feel teach me how to drive Rally and i can really feel the over/understeer and contra. In other Rally "simulators" i can never feel that contra hitting me back after a bad over or understeer (mostly oversteer ofc), in RBR all this feels much more accurate for me.

So i have been playing RBR alone a lot (and googled for tips ofc), and the learning curve is slowly going up but i would like som suggestions on how to get those last...

Hey there guys!

Just thought about having a thread to post our RBR Driving tips, techniques,etc; and even to ask others about specific techniques and tips.
This would improve our Rally Clubs and Championships experience as they would be more competitive. It would also help many "RBR starters".
It would be a kind of RD Rally School :p

What do you think about it ??

Tarmac in RBR

I keep hearing that people think the Tarmac in RBR is unrealistic and I am wondering why. Do i understand that people feel the TArmac doesn't have enough grip and you slid too much? Is that right or am i misunderstanding what everyone has a problem with?

I find it more realistic than the gravel to be honest (the gravel has too much grip) where the Tarmac is about what I have found in real life rallying.

Just curious.

Hi, first sorry if my English is bad.

Its many years seen I run RBR ( Before all NGP) and its not easy now.
I found this text
Next, it's the physics' turn. And immediately it's triple caution time! Because VW is an NGP car, you must use the physics.rbz coming with the NGP plugin instead of RBR's original file. (The small yet so important distinction between these two rbz versions is in their physics.lsp files.)

Carlist.ini cant be downloaded again, and all cars are Removed this Sunday when i got some spare time to play :( , i did not find a update but im sure the reason for this ia a new very recent update on the RBR Cit, anyone?.

Step 1: Connect all your devices to your USB ports.
Step 2: Configure your values within the game in the controls section, save your profile and exit the game.
Step 3: See my screenshot and put the file called pfMULLIGATAWNY.acm located in the path D:\Richard Burns Rally\SavedGames\pfMULLIGATAWNY.acm in read only, right click then property.
From now on, even changing and disconnecting / connecting to different USB ports, your driving devices will always keep your previous storage without any...

installing tracks the manual way?

I downloaded SS Dolmen, but it was not in RX Content format (drag and drop) plugin.

I have a list of track-755_M with other letters. There is no readme, but other txt files to replace. How on earth do I do it this way?

There is tracks.txt and tracksetting.txt

I don't get WHY there's no readme.

Does this replace in game tracks, or in a seperate menu etc?

Firstly, why does the timer jump to 14 seconds when i start a stage?

Second, is there an easy way to move the camera back in cockpit view?

Thirdly, is there a nice simple mod that makes the game look better...like a texture or shader pack?

Lastly, any good skins for the 00 Subaru and the 206?

I will probably get some of the more complex mods for this game but not straight away.

Hi. I want to make a RBR movie, and seeen others do views that i dont see possible done from a cars view.
So is there some kinda of free view or something
if not, is there a way to setup trackside cameras or adjust theme?
I have checked the camhack, but from what i can see theres no way to do free cam mode.

Hi All,

So for some reason, I recently decided to completely uninstall RBR and all the mods I had and start all over again.

I've reinstalled RBR, done the patch, and got the latest NGP download from RBRCZ and the fix up too.

Now the issues i'm currently having are, firstly the download for the actual CZ plugin to run new tracks is no longer available on the website, does anyone have this that I can download?

Also, I can't get my pedals and wheel setup working properly (T300 and T3PA...

My RBR NGP 6 Crashed before the profile menu..

Before this happens, i do run a pc booster app. I dont know if this app deleted something crucial for the rbr to works. The loading time was fast but it crashes after the loading bars was all completed. I doesnt change any setup or that stuff, it runs perfectly the last time before i decided to use that boost app. I already try to download a fresh copy, but still same result. Anyone know what to do?
