Help needed - manual gear, I don't get it

Hi everyone,

I've just installed RBR & RSRBR 2013 (win 7 not in c:\program files) as described in the guide on this forum. I started RBR (default game) and adjusted this Mullisomething profile to use manual gears by default. But whenever I launch RSRBR in RSCenter, I'm switched to automatic gears + brake pedal works as reverse gear, as if I'd be playing with keyboard. If I launch SSE in RSCenter, all works as it's supposed to.I use (trying to) Fanatec Porsche GT3 RS wheel with clubsport...

Gents,
My G27 is slightly out of line.
When I have the wheel centred it is actually driving slightly to the left.

Question 1
How the heck do I re-calibrate the wheel?

It the centring sensor broken/slipped a coq (like I have just been reading..)

Hi there,

I wonder if something changed with the last update or if I changed something and didn't notice.

I had been having some fun with the Skoda Fabia Evo 2 (s2000_2 pack), and cockpit cam for me is the only way to go. All the sudden, the top half of the windscreen is darkened.

It's something with the car model it seems, as it can be seen from the outside as well. Now... not only it's harder to see through the darkened part, but the two...

Hello, can anyone help me? I wanted to play RBR after some time and this message occured: Could not find any compatible Direct3D devices... I've tried to reinstall directx and graphic drivers as well as the game itself but nothing works. Got Win7 Ultimate 64bit, Athlon 64 X2 2200 MHz, 4GB DDR2, ATI Radeon HD 4850, Asus M2A-VM motherboard and the newest graphical drivers and newest DirectX drivers, please HELP!

BTB Install Runtime Error

When I try to install any BTB tracks I get a runtime error?
I have downloaded the BTB tracks again but it made no difference, the error is in the image below, anyone able to help? Windows 8.1

UPDATE:
Please forget my post below. Meanwhile I have the PaceNote Plugin working, probably I did something wrong before. So I don't need the Camhack anymore for adjusting the view. But I have another problem, about which I will make a new thread.



I started again with RBR but now without RSRBR and installed it with patches 1.01, 1.02 and with the latest Fixup plugin. Until now I always used the bumper view, but I would like to try the cockpit view as well and installed the...

A few questions about Public Sessions and Championships in RS Center.

After doing last Rally Club event I acquired a taste for online playing and I am looking forward to the RDRC next weekend. However it looks nice to me to join also some Public Sessions or even a Championship through RS Center, but although I have read the tutorials some things are still not clear to me. Unfortunately the rallyesim.fr website is a bit confusing.
At the moment I have the following questions, but maybe some more will arise:

Sound trouble on Tarmac

I have tire "squeel" all the time on some type of tarmac on the tarmac stages.

For example on the MC stages its on the whole time but n Bergheim ist mostly on the wide 2 lane road, when turn off into the norrow tarmac road it works fine.

Any hints?

I have installed RSRBR2015 and have signed in for the next RDRC season. Being very slow and a beginner I expect to crash a lot and finish as the very, very last but that doesn't bother me. I hope to learn a lot by joining.

But now I wonder if it is worth to install another mod as well or stay with only RSRBR2015 for the moment. If it is advisable to have another mod as well, which one do you recommend ? I saw RBRWorld, the Czech one and Real Rally, but probably there are some more.

I am ready to get into some Rally action. Working install of RSRBR15 and I've finally found out how to get a proper widescreen aspect ratio working.

RSCenter 2015 profanity?

Just as one of those observations you never really want to make, the RSRBR RSCenter 2015 screen clearly spells "RAPE" right down the side of it!

Once I saw it I could not un-see it, it's somewhat disconcerting!

Just figured I would throw that one into the ether and see if someone might be so kind as to come up with a fix.

I've just bought and installed RBR and I'm having a few issues.
My PC runs Windows 7 Ultimate and having bought the sim, it installed fine (not in the default directory obviously) and I've also downloaded and installed the 2 official update patches, as per Warrens thread.

The game will load and go through the Intro screens fine, but when it gets to the menu screen, all I get is a black screen with the audio still running, but not menu's etc. I've tried putting the compatibility to WIndows...

Having Issues...

Replay issue, crash to RSC after 45 sec

Hiya.

After the latest update/patch I can't seem to run a full replay without the game crashing to the RS Center screen with no information of why, not even a common "the program has stopped working" window :unsure:

Has anyone else ever ran into this issue? :unsure:

RBR does have problems with steering lag from time to time. Being an old game, it does effect G25's, but such as Momo's are absolutely fine.

1. If you are using the latest wingman drivers (above 5.01) you need to revert to some older ones, best ones seem to be the 5.0 drivers.

Steering Ratios in RBR

I have been reading about steering ratios the past few days, something that seems to be discussed quite a bit in other sims, but rarely addressed in RBR. Sure there are discussions about what people set their steering rotations (wheel setting) and max steering lock (car setting) settings to, but these numbers seem to be all over the map, and no explanation to how these numbers were generated.

I have been a huge fan of WRC, even though my main interests lies with roadracing.

I recently saw an opinion saying that RBR had the best in-game rally training of all the Rally games on the market, even though the graphics were dated.

Is this true?
Which version of RBR is the best one for rally training?
Or what Rally game has the best in-game rally training module?

Hi! I had RBR on Windows 7 and it worked nice. I had it on a USB and now put it on my PC with Windows 8.1 and it down open because its missing "VB6FR.dll". I tried to download it and put it in the folder, but still the same issue. Please help!

*Edit: RBR works fine, I meant RSCenter stuff

Hey Guys, check this little Beauty out. My friend from LFS Joecool done this, and this is how it's "meant" to be done. He does it professionally and all his work is second to non, although he does have the equip to go with it, I just think, its about time his awesome work got shared.
